World-class posters on a fence
Henryk Tomaszewski was a world-class contemporary poster artists and graphic designer, one of the founders of the so-called ‘Polish Poster School’ and holder of countless international art awards and titles, including Honorary Royal Designer for Industry granted by Royal Society of Arts in London. To commemorate his 100th birthday, the Łazienki Royal Baths Park are organizing an outdoor exhibition of his interesting and sometimes surprising works representing different stages of his career. His works will be presented on the fence surrounding the park, from Chopin’s side. So, now you can have a walk and learn something about Polish art.

Jazz at its best
World class jazz on April Fool’s Day? Why not? The Anders Mogersen Trio, that is: Gary Thomas (saxophone), who took lessons from Miles Davis, Daniel Franck, top European double bass player from Sweden, and, last but not least, Anders Morgersen – Danish percussionists, with over 100 records produced, will create an atmosphere you will never forget. If you love jazz, this concert is really worth attending!

Extraordinary ordinary world
Willem Van Dem Poll was a Dutch photographer and reporter. In 1934 he travelled through Poland and took a few hundred photographs, a big part of them in Warsaw. He captured everyday life of Varsovians, portrayed famous people of that time (both politicians and actresses) and observed important landmarks of the Polish capital. This photographs have never been published before and every new collection presenting the image of the city which is gone is both informative and touching.
