Jewish Warsaw

Monday 30 June is the last day of exhibition “Warszawa, Warsze”, which will show you prewar Jewish Warsaw life. You will be able to sit in a café to read prewar Jewish press and sing along Warsaw’s old favourites, like“The Ball on Gnojna Street”. The exhibition will reveal how Jews influenced Warsaw, but also how Warsaw influenced the Jews, aiming to present the multicultural side of the city since its early days till the outbreak of the Second World War.

City Mirages

”City Mirages” is a series of multimedia installations located in the gates and courtyards Wola – Mirów district of Warsaw. Installations will create a walking route around Mirow in the period from 27th June to 7th July 2014, at hours 22:00 – 24:00.
Following the path of “mirages” you can experience not only the physical objects, such as architecture, but also things that can not be touched; the spiritual, symbolic and emotional sphere. Using light, sound and video projections authors analyze the problem of loneliness, fear, sense of security, love and memory associated with the city, enriching the urban space in the art, which is telling about the emotions of people living in it.
